Sue Reed, 80, of Greenwich, died Monday, May 23, 2011 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands in New London. She was born March 30, 1931 in Gunlock, Kentucky and lived in Greenwich for over 60 years. She was a homemaker, loved Bingo and being with her family. Survivors include many nieces and nephews. Sue was preceded in death by her husband, Woodrow Reed; parents, Green and Mary 'Sissie' (Shepherd) Hale; 3 brothers and 4 sisters. Friends and family may be received on Thursday, May 26th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main Street, Greenwich where a funeral service will be held on Friday at 2 p.m. with Pastor Kenny Conley officiating. Burial will follow at Maple Grove Cemetery, New Haven.
