Susan Denise Dillon, 46, life long resident of New London, died Wednesday, March 30, 2011 at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk after a lengthy illness. She was born on February 3, 1965 in New London. She was a 1983 New London High School graduate and worked several years as a cashier for Drug Mart in Norwalk until she became ill. Susan was a past member of the First Baptist Church of New London. Survived by siblings, Karen Dillon and Jesse J. Dillon both of New London and niece, Sydney Dillon of New London. She was preceded in death by her parents, Jesse H. and Margaret Dillon; maternal grandparents, Henry and Mary Boyd and paternal grandparents, Pete and Ruby Dillon. Visitation will be held from 4 p.m. until the time of funeral service at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 7th at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London with Ed Hamilton officiating.
