Susan Patricia Keysor, 77, lifelong resident of Greenwich, died unexpectedly Friday, August 29, 2014. She was born on August 17, 1937, in Mansfield, daughter of the late Arthur and Elizabeth Sloan. Susan's mother died when she was 4 and was raised by her grandmother, Ada Simmons. She graduated from Greenwich High School in 1955 and attended Ashland College. Susan volunteered at Willard Hospital, worked for Huron County CAC in Norwalk and was a cook at the Willard YMCA for several years. Susan enjoyed bird watching and feeding them. She loved Sunday family dinners. Susan is survived by her children, Michael (Kayoko) Keysor of Willard, Patricia (David) Bute of Greenwich and Natalie (Eric) Haudenschild of Mansfield; grandchildren, Rachael (Andy) Jaynes of New Washington, Aaron (Rachel Leber) Bute of Greenwich, Emma Keysor of Willard, Lilah Keysor of Willard and Rebekah Haudenschild of Mansfield; great grandchildren, Reghan, Abram, Zen, Violet and Eden Jaynes;brother, Doug Sloan of Ashland; sister-in-law, Romona Figley of Willard and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dean and grandmother, Ada Simmons. Her family will greet friends from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, September 2nd at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 W. Main St., Greenwich where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday with Pastor Bob Hudberg officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwich Greenlawn Cemetery.
