Sylvia Lee, 88, of Wellington and formerly of Cleveland, died on Tuesday, November 20, 2012. A daughter of the late Elijah Frenchman and Matilda (nee Lake) Gibson, Sylvia was born on March 28, 1924.
On June 17, 1950 she married Frederick Joseph Lee. She, along with her husband, owned and operated Lee Lapidaries in Cleveland for over forty years. She was a long-term, active member of People's United Methodist Church in Cleveland, Ohio. Sylvia cherished time spent with her children and grandchildren.
Survivors include her loving husband of 62 years; her children, Jeffrey Randolph Lee, Larry Lee and Dottie Cianciola; grandchildren, Abigail Joy (Chris) Campbell, Andrew Thomas Cianciola, Adam Joseph Cianciola and Anthony James Cianciola; son-in-law, Angelo Thomas Cianciola and brother, Bruce Gibson. Sylvia was preceded in death by her siblings, Nina Lee Fisher, Arlie Wellborn, Carol Canterbury, Leota Gibson, Zoe Ann Byrd, Ressie Carter, Jean Lee, Viola Fisher and Elijah Gibson Jr.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, November 24 from 10 a.m. until the 11 a.m. memorial service at the Wellington First United Methodist Church, 127 Park Place, Wellington, with Rev.
