Sylvia McKinney, 85, of Wellington passed away peacefully on Thursday, October 04, 2012. She was born March 11, 1927 in Floyd Co. KY to the late James and Martha (nee Kidd) Damron and lived most of her life in Wellington. Sylvia loved to cook and to spend time with her grandbabies. Sylvia is survived by her children, Michael McKinney of Wellington, Margaret (John) Stevens of New London and Velma (Fred) Cole of Fitchville, many grandchildren and great grandchildren, and brother, Jonnie Damron of New London. She was preceded in death by a son, Deannie McKinney, siblings, Delcie Dudlie, Norman, Ed and Willie Damron. A private family service will be held at Greenwood Cemetery.
