Teresa D. "Teri" Castleman

Teresa D. “Teri” Castleman, 62, of New London, Ohio, passed away after a brief and sudden illness at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk, Ohio. She was born on September 25, 1963, in Ozark, Alabama, to the late Jackie and Rebecca (Davidson) Castleman.

Teri was a kind woman who beamed with pride for her loving son, Corey. She collected horses and was a Sci-Fi fanatic. She was musically inclined and a wonderfully talented pianist and vocalist. She enjoyed reading and had a special place in her heart for animals, especially dogs and horses.

Teri earned her B.S. in Computer Engineering from Auburn University. She had worked several places including the Ohio Department of Transportation, Michelin, Startech, and Ashford Academy, where she taught computer related classes.

She is survived by her son, Corey Turpin of Overland Park, Kansas, sister, Sharon Marchionni of Dothan, Alabama, and niece, Lauren Marchionni of Raleigh, North Carolina.

She was preceded in death by her parents.
