Terrence Scott McMahon, of Huntington Twp. died unexpectedly, July 16, 2018. Terry was born December 11, 1961 in Parma, OH to Mary and John McMahon. Terry grew up on the family farm in Huntington Twp. He was a 1980 graduate of Black River and loved Black River football. He attended Bowling Green State University where he was a member of Sigma Phi Epsilon, and graduated from Lorain County Community College and Cleveland State University. He was employed in sales at Cleveland City Forge in Wellington. He was a member of United Church of Huntington, a founding member of Black River Fullbackers. Terry loved nature and being outdoors in the woods. He is survived by his wife, Mary Ann; sons, James (Laurie) McMahon, Michael (Katie) McMahon and Gus McMahon; grandchildren, Allison, Olivia, Violet and Conor McMahon; mother, Mary E. McMahon; sister, Patricia (Ric) McCaslin; brother, Tom (Kerry) McMahon; mother-in-law, Ruth Steirer; sister-in-law and brother-in-law, Brenda and Ken Rambo, and nephews, John McMahon, Chris, Kyle, Thomas and Daniel Rambo and Jake Baruth. Terry loved his family very much and will be missed immensely. Terry was preceded in death by his father, John A. McMahon; his father-in-law, George J. Steirer and brother, Tim McMahon. Family and friends will gather on Thursday, July 19, 2018 from 2-4 and 6-8 pm at United Church of Huntington, 26677 State Route 58, Wellington, where services will be held on Friday, July 20, beginning at 11am with Elder Howard Quast officiating. Burial will follow at Huntington Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to the McMahon family, payable to Farmers Savings Bank, 111 Main St. P.O. Box 38, Spencer, OH 44275, or 502 S. Main Street, P.O. Box 438, Wellington, OH 44090.
