Terrie Marie (Sweet) Meisler, 73, of Norwalk, OH, passed away Thursday, April 2, 2026, at Firelands Regional Medical Center.

She was born on April 21, 1952, in Grovetown, GA, to Donald and Beverly (Ritchey) Sweet. Terrie was a 1970 graduate of Norwalk High School. On August 7, 1971, she married her childhood sweetheart and love of her life, Richard E. Meisler. They built a wonderful life together and enjoyed many family parties, sporting events for their kids, and grandkids, vacations to Florida, and good times in general. Terrie was a longtime employee of Norwalk Furniture and made many friends over the years. She was quick to offer a hug and a smile.

Terrie was preceded in death by her parents, husband Rich, grandson Parker Olcott and several aunts and uncles.

She is survived by her children, Mathew (Megan) Meisler, Corrie (Derek) Olcott, and Amanda (Joey) Pirrone; her grandchildren, SSG Luke (Madison) Meisler, Sydney Meisler, Chloe, Camryn, Coryn, Deklyn, and Daxton Olcott; great granddaughter, May Meisler; sisters, Donna (Mike) Sutter and Tracie Thurman; brothers, Donald (Bernie Mirtes) Sweet and Michael (Robin) Sweet; and several cousins, nieces and nephews.

The family would like to thank “Team Terrie” for all the love and support given to her since she lost Rich. Her weekly dinners with the girls brought her many laughs and smiles.

There will be no visitation or service. The family will celebrate her life privately at a later date.
