Terry Homer Allen, 65, of Greenwich, passed away peacefully at his home on Wednesday, April 30, 2014. He was born on December 14, 1948, in Norwalk to the late Donald and Norma (Huestis) Allen. He graduated from New London High School in 1968 and received an associate degree in business administration at Lorain Business College. Terry worked for City Loan in Norwalk, Monumental Life and 25 years at Tenneco Automotive in Milan. He also worked at Huron County Job and Family Services and the Bureau of Vocational Rehabilitations in Sandusky. Terry became an Eagle Scout and was a former Fitchville Boy Scouts leader. He was a member of the Fitchville United Methodist Church. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 45 years, Linda (Francis); daughter, Penny (Jeff) Clagg of Lesage, WV; sons, Rodney (Tracy) Allen and Kyle Allen both of Greenwich; 9 grandchildren, Ashley, Sidney, Julius, Jacob, Alexis, Savannah, Abigail, Jeremiah and Cheyenne. In addition to his parents, Terry was preceded in death by his brother, Ron Allen. The family will greet friends from 2-4 p.m. and 6-9 p.m. Sunday, May 4th at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London where a service will be held at 11 a.m. Monday with Pastor Georgette Gaston officiating. Burial will follow in Fitchville Cemetery.
