Terry was a 1970 Edison graduate, where he was a standout basketball, football and track athlete. As a freshman, he broke, and held the record for the 2 mile race, which stood for many years.
Terry loved his children and adored his grandchildren, he was proud of them, and was a staunch advocate of their extracurricular endeavors. He enjoyed playing golf whenever and wherever possible, and had a huge sweet tooth, rarely missing any opportunity to grab a quick candy snack. Bonanza, Gunsmoke, and Matlock were staples on the Meagrow television, and beach trips to Topsail Island, North Carolina forged many fond family memories.
Terry was a talented upholsterer, working at Norwalk Furniture for over 46 years, and also with his own upholstery business from home. He was a member of the Norwalk Eagles #711, and American Legion Post 41.
Terry is survived by his loving wife of 52 ½ years, and high school sweet heart, Sandra (Friend) Meagrow; son, Benjamin (Sarah) Meagrow, of Sandusky; daughter, Jennifer (Doug) Harold, of Berea; grandchildren, Emma and Maxwell Meagrow, and Aiden and Molly Harold; siblings, Steve (Lindy) Meagrow of Norwalk, Jay (Tiffany) Meagrow of Shaker Heights, Jeff (Cara) Meagrow of Bath Township, and Kim (Mark) Sprowl Spindler of Bellevue; sister in-law, Linda (William) Muthig of Milan; his nieces, Kristen and Alison Muthig; and special nephew, Brandon Meagrow; and many other nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his birth mother, Norma (Dailey) Sprowl; birth father, Paul J. Meagrow; step parents, David Sprowl and Kathy Meagrow; brother, Brian (Kathleen) Meagrow; and in laws, Max (Betty) Friend.
