Terry L. Story

Terry L. (Sugaski) Story, age 67, entered into heavenly rest on October 12, 2026, after a lengthy and courageous battle with cancer. She was born on November 24, 1958, in Amherst, Ohio, to the late Harry and Marie (Layport) Sugaski. She graduated from New London High School.

Terry had a heart for children; she operated day care through the state in her home and adored her grandchildren. She also loved animals, especially horses and her dogs. She was talented at shooting pool and was a member of the Huron County Women’s Pool League.

Terry is survived by her husband of nearly 40 years, Larry Story; children, Daniel Story, and Joseph “Adam” (Lauren) Story; grandchildren, Skylarr, Ireland, Emerson, Colton, Aria, and Elise; siblings, Butch, Janice, Sherry (Leon), Clayton, Theresa, and Jon; and siblings in-law, Pat (Larry), Rhonda (Terry), Jerry, and James (Nancy).

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her “Sister”, Peggy Platte; and sister in-law, Janice Gelushia.

A visitation for Terry will be held on Friday, October 16, 2026, from 11 am until 1 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main St., Norwalk, where a funeral service will begin at 1 p.m. Burial will follow in Woodlawn Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be directed to The American Cancer Society, P.O.
