Terry H. Wilson, age 67, of New London, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at The Laurels of New London. He was born on July 22, 1946, in New London. Terry graduated from New London High School in 1964 and went on to receive a journalism degree from The Ohio State University. In 1970 Terry began working for the New London Record newspaper and was promoted to editor in 1983, a position in which he served for 29 years. He also wrote articles for the Norwalk Reflector and Sandusky Register. Terry was a former member and past president of the New London Rotary Club and a member of the Independent Living Center of North Central Ohio, the Fitchville Conservation League, the New London Eagles and the Sons of the American Legion. Terry is survived by his mother, Fanchon Arlene (Kline) Wilson of New London; sister, Rosemary (John) Liles of Norwalk; a niece, Mary Beth; a nephew, Andrew; and many cousins. He was preceded in death by his father, Harvey Wilson and niece, Eve. A graveside service will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, May 6, 2014 at the Fitchville Cemetery with Pastor Georgette Gaston and Pastor Ben Black officiating. Terry's family and friends are invited to join in a time of light refreshments and fellowship at The Laurels of New London following the service.
