Obituary

Thelma Pauline McDevitt, 87, of Wellington, went to be with the Lord on April 13, 2013. A daughter of the late Leonard Harrison and Eliza (nee Lamb) Cutshall, she was born on December 26, 1925 in Greeneville, TN. Pauline was a great mother who loved her children. She also loved the Lord with all her heart. Her other hobbies included gardening, making quilts, canning foods, having and going to garage sales, watching her baby calves running through the fields and spending time with the Amish. A true entrepreneur, Pauline reupholstered furniture, caned chairs and owned an antique business. She was the beloved mother of Elaine (Bob) Davis, Don (Trish) McDevitt, Glen McDevitt, and Marilyn (Paul) McDevitt-Wright; grandmother of 13; great grandmother to 22 and loving sister of L.H. Cutshall. Pauline was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 60 years, Norman in 2006; and siblings, Edna Cutshall, Ruby Cagel, Claudia Scott, Bonnie Cutshall, Perry Cutshall, Tell Cutshall and Helen White. Visitation will be held Monday, April 15 from 4-9 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington. Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at the LaGrange Church of God, 502 North Center Street, LaGrange with Rev. Danny Wright officiating. Burial will follow at Huntington Cemetery.
