Thelma M. (Seville) Baker, 94, of North Fairfield, Ohio, passed away peacefully on August 16, 2021 at Norwalk Memorial Home.

Thelma was born October 3, 1926 near Attica, Ohio and was a lifelong area resident of Fairfield Township. She was the daughter of the late Goldia (Carrick) and Carl M. Seville and Blanche (Paull) Seville.  She graduated from North Fairfield High School in 1944.  She graduated from Sandusky Beauty College in 1962. Thelma owned and operated Barb's Beauty Shop. She was a member of North Fairfield Grange #806, American Legion Auxiliary #706, and the Excelsior Farm Women's Club.

In her spare time, Thelma enjoyed watching and feeding the birds, reading, and her grandchildren.

Thelma is survived by her daughter, Barbara L. "Barb" (Jeff) Myers; sons, David M. "Mike" Baker and William C. "Bill" (June) Baker; granddaughters, Kirsten Ziembo, Renee Puterbaugh and Miranda Bores; grandsons, Major Donald E. Baker, Tyler Baker, Keegan Baker and many great grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Donald L. Baker in 2009, whom she married on July 6, 1946; brothers, Gerald Seville in 2009 and Lee Seville in 2011; sister, Jean Lundell in 2004; half-sister, Dorothy "Dimples" Stephens in 2015; half-brother, Howard Seville in 1937; step-sister Mary Jo (Paull) Gooding in 2017; step-brothers. Walter Paull in 2009, William Paull in 2003, and Max Paull in 2006.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021 from 3 pm to 7 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. A funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Friday, August 20, 2021 at 10:30 am. Burial will follow at North Fairfield Cemetery.
