Theresa Ann (nee Marley) Corriggio was born November 2, 1922 to Antonio and Teresa (Piscitello) Marley in Wellington, Ohio. She passed away peacefully on October 11, 2015 after a brief illness. Theresa was a first generation Sicilian American. She graduated from Wellington High School in 1941. On August 26, 1944 she married Charles Corriggio in San Diego, California. They were married 58 years until his death on April 12, 2003. She was the longest standing member of St. Patrick's church in Wellington. Theresa loved to keep an immaculate home and took great pride and satisfaction in doing so. She enjoyed entertaining her friends, bringing her family together to celebrate special occasions, and enjoyed shopping as a pastime. Theresa was part owner of the Pizza House in Oberlin with her sister-in law Rose Marley in the late 1950's and early 1960's. She later worked as cafeteria supervisor at Wellington Schools until her retirement in 1986. Theresa was the last of her clan. In addition to her parents and husband Charles, she was preceded in death by brothers Charles, Frank and James and her sister Rose Soboslai. She is survived by daughters Cindy (Barnett Jr.) Jones and Cathleen (Eric) Coffman both of Wellington; Grandchildren Richard Fox of Wellington, Chris (Mary Claire) Fox of Wellington, Amanda Snyder of Columbus, Christopher Coffman of Columbus, and Megan Coffman of Cleveland; great grandsons Charles, Nickolas, Joseph and Michael Fox. Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, October 13, 2015 from 10 am until the time of the funeral mass at 11 am at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 512 North Main Street, Wellington, with Father James Reymann officiating. Burial will follow in Greenwood Cemetery, Wellington. Memorial contributions if desired may be made to the Wellington Senior Bus, 115 Willard Memorial Square, Wellington, OH, 44090, where Theresa volunteered for nearly 20 years.
