Norwalk, Ohio - Thomas David Doughty, Jr., 70, of Norwalk, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, January 2, 2019, in Fisher-Titus Medical Center. He was born January 19, 1948, in Norwalk, Ohio, to the late Thomas David and Marie Frances (McGinn) Doughty Sr. Thomas was a veteran of the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam War. He enjoyed gardening, researching genealogy, playing word games, and sharing stories and life experiences with his family. Thomas is survived by his children, Tina (Carrie Fleming) Preece, Tammy Jones, Thomas (Dawn) Doughty III, Tracy (Terry) Ray, Paul (Missy) Doughty, and Frances (Stephen) Scheel, by numerous grandchildren, and great grandchildren. He is also survived by his siblings, Diane Williams, Michael Doughty, and Chastity Smith. Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Doughty, and by his 4 legged companion, Ma-Ling.
