Thomas H. Jones, of Greenwich, passed away at the age of 60, on Sunday, March 26, 2017 at Mercy Willard Hospital. He was born on December 14, 1956 in Shelby, Ohio and lived most of his life in the Greenwich and Shiloh areas. He was a 1975 graduate of South Central High School and served in the United States Army from 1978 to 1985. He married Danette Chambers on May 6, 1985. Thomas previously ran a dairy farm and then worked for Lake Park Industries in Greenwich for 30 years. Thomas loved gardening, making hay and mowing. He is survived by his beloved wife, Danette; mother, Janet Jones of Willard; sisters, Cathy (Ron) Sherer of Clyde and Joanna Back of Greenwich; brother-in-law, Marty (Cindy) Chambers of Bloomville; nephew, Aaron (Renea) Back of Olena; nieces, Andrea Back of Norwalk, Amanda (Ryan) Caudill of Delphi and Catherine (Jordan) Rhoad of Clyde and great nephews and nieces, Ethan Caudill, Alex Caudill, Carter Caudill, Drew Carr, Jocelyn Tritch and Josephine Rhoad. Thomas was preceded in death by his father, Willard Jones, Jr.; infant twin nieces, Anita and Annett Back and in-laws, Martin and Donamae Chambers. In keeping with Thomas' request there will be no visitation or service.
