Thomas E. Miller, 74, of Norwalk, passed away unexpectedly on Wednesday morning, April 18, 2018 at home. He was born on November 5, 1943 in New London to Emry Lewis and Margaret Ann (nee Krisha) Miller. He was a South High School graduate in Cleveland. Thomas and the love of his life, his wife Dorothea (nee Weitzel) had celebrated 50 years of marriage this past June. They were an inseparable "wolfpack of 2". He enjoyed and was very talented with refinishing furniture, painting and drawing. He liked to work in the garden and was known for his homemade horseradish. Thomas was a journeyman bricklayer. Much of his work can still be viewed and appreciated in the area. As an example, he and his son Tom along with Stephen Cillo, the principle who did the laboring, had built the sign at Norwalk Middle School many years ago. In addition to his wife Dorothea, Thomas is survived by his children, Margie (Joe) Lang of NY, Tom (Nancy) Miller of Norwalk; Mother, Margaret (nee Krisha) Miller of Norwalk; 5 grandchildren, 2 great grandchildren; Brother, Paul (Barb) Miller of Norwalk; numerous aunts and uncles; several nieces and nephews; cousins and Fred Doebek of Cleveland. In addition to his father Emry Lewis Miller, Thomas was preceded in death by his brother, David H. Miller. Calling hours will be Monday, April 23, from 10 am until the 11 am service at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, with burial immediately following in Olena Cemetery.
