Thomas J. Seman, 76, of Wellington, died Thursday, February 5, 2009 at EMH in Elyria after a short illness.
Thomas was born March 24, 1932 in Exeter, PA; the son of the late, John & Mary (Pribula) Seman. Thomas lived in Pennsylvania until he entered the United States Army. He served in the Army for four years during the Korean Conflict.
Following his military service, Thomas worked for United Airlines for 39 years. He was a member of the Wellington American Legion Post 8 and St. Patrick's Catholic Church. Thomas enjoyed bowling and word puzzles. He leaves behind a legacy of being a hard worker and an extremely loving husband, father and grandfather.
Survivors include his wife of 54 years, Jean; two sons, Thomas (Theresa) Seman, Jr. of Wellington and Scott (Lynnette) Seman of West Covina, CA; 6 grandchildren, and 7 great grandchildren. Thomas is also survived by his siblings, Marie Seman and Theresa Seman, both of Exeter, PA, John Seman of Wyoming, PA, Regina Romani of West Wyoming, PA and Bernard Seman of Palm Bay, FL. He was preceded in death by three brothers, Joseph, Steven and Richard Seman and a sister, Anna Wagner.
A memorial Mass will be held at St. Patrick's Catholic Church, 512 N. Main St., Wellington on Tuesday, February 10th at 4:00 pm with Rev. James Reymann officiating. The family will receive friends from 3:00 to 4:00.
