Thomas Leo Signs, age 83, of Sandusky, died on Saturday, August 30, 2025, at the Stein Hospice Care Center. Born October 14, 1941, to the late Leo L. and Madeline E. (Rickley) Signs, he married Alice (Byrne) on May 5, 1970.

As a truck driver for E&L Transport out of Lorain, Thomas was a hard-working and dedicated employee. However, at his core, Thomas was a very simple man who enjoyed quiet days at home. He liked to sit outside and watch wildlife that would wander through his yard. The birds and bunnies were among his favorites, and he always made sure to have food out for them.

Left to cherish Thomas's memory are his beloved wife, Alice, of Sandusky; children, Shelly Signs of Crystal River, Florida, and Bryan Signs of Willard; granddaughter, Anna Grice of North Carolina; and great-grandchildren Rose, Edward, and Winter. He is also survived by his siblings, Richard Signs of Norwalk, Steven Signs of Sandusky, and Sharon Sands of Hawaii.

Thomas was preceded in death by his parents, Leo and Madeline Signs, and a brother, David Signs.

In accordance with Thomas's wishes, no services will be held at this time. The Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home of Norwalk is honored to assist the family with their arrangements.
