Thomas Christopher Teehan, 74, died Tuesday, February 16, 2010 at the Life
Care Assisted Living Center of Elyria. The son of the late Mathew and Ellen (nee Keough) Teehan, Thomas was born on May 31, 1935 in Wellington and was a lifelong resident of the Village and attended Wellington High
School.
Thomas proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He worked for the American Ship Building Company and in construction in various capacities. Thomas also worked on the space chamber for NASA in Sandusky. He was a member of the Wellington Eagles for over 50 years.
He is survived by his wife of 50 years, Billie Jo; three brothers, John and Jim Teehan, both of Wellington, Patrick Teehan of Elyria and two sisters, Ellen Cottrell and Betty Farnsworth, both of Wellington. Thomas
was preceded in death by his siblings, Matthew, Mary Margaret and infant
siblings, Michael, Robert Lee and Kathleen.
Visitation will be held Thursday, February 18 from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m. at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington, with funeral services on Friday at 11 a.m. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery,
