Thomas Joseph Tutko, 66, of Ashland, died Tuesday, September 3, 2024 at home. Born on December 12, 1957, in Oberlin, he was the son of the late Michael J. and Mary R. (nee Matis) Tutko. Thomas grew up in Oberlin and was a graduate of keystone High School. In 1979 he bought a farm in Ashland where he made his home and raised a family.

Thomas worked at Spencer Forge for several years, but his true passion was farming. He had been a social member of the American Legion. He prided himself in building his farm and passing it along to his son.

Survivors include his son, Mike Tutko, of Ashland; grandchildren, Ashlee, Emmalee, and Thomas; great grandchildren, Mila and Riley; and a brother, Jack Tutko. Thomas was preceded in death by his loving wife of 45 years, Connie L. (nee Steele) Tutko.
