Thomas A. Walcher, 76, of Sandusky, Ohio, passed away on Friday, October 8, 2021. He was born on August 1, 1945 to the late Ellen (Foote) and Elroy Walcher.

In 1963, Tom graduated from South Central High School as a part of the first graduating class. After high school, he attended college at the Ohio State University Agricultural School. On June 26, 1966, Tom married the love of his life, Charee (Myers) Walcher. Tom enjoyed farming with his parents and siblings on the family farm, Walcher Grain Company.

Tom was a member and Sunday school youth teacher at the Norwalk First United Methodist Church, and he was a previous member of the North Fairfield United Methodist Church where he served as a lay leader and youth leader. Tom was also a member of Farm Bureau, was active in the Huron County Fair, and served as president of the North Fairfield Lions Club. He was a girls' basketball coach for South Central School, where he had the honor of coaching his daughters.

Tom is survived by his wife, Charee Walcher; daughters, Deborah (John) Linn, Robin (David) Cassidy, Julie (Brandon) Chandler, and Holly (Keith) Alto; grandchildren, Jack, Keaton, Sydney, Skyler, and Brooklyn; and siblings, Joan Deeble and Neil (Diane) Walcher.

In addition to his parents, Tom was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Donald Deeble.

There will be a visitation at the Norwalk First United Methodist Church, 60 West Main Street, Norwalk, Ohio 44857 on Tuesday, October 12, 2021 from 10:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 12:00 p.m. with burial to follow at North Fairfield Cemetery.
