Obituary

Thomas Michael Wladyka, 68, of Sullivan, died May 26, 2025 at home. Born on April 26, 1957 in Cleveland, he was the son of the late Margaret (nee Mehalic) and Michael Plishka. Thomas was later adopted and raised by his step father Wlademer Wladyka.

Following graduation, Thomas joined and proudly served in the United States Army. He moved to the Nova area in the early 90's and settled in Sullivan several years ago. Thomas worked for Caterpillar for many years. He was a long time member of the Huntington AmVets and served as the Commander. He was also a member of the American Legion and was part of a Harley riding group. Thomas enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson, attending estate sales, and socializing in the clubs. He was very mechanically inclined and could build all kinds of equipment. He was also an avid hunter and took many trips out west to hunt and fish.

Survivors include his son Michael Thomas Wladyka, Sr., of Sheffield Village; his companion of many years, Loretta DeWitt, of Wellington; grandchildren, Michael Thomas Wladyka, Jr., and Mila Wladyka; and a brother, Terry Wladyka, of Seven Hills. Thomas was preceded in death by his wife Pam.

A celebration of life will be held at the Huntington AmVets Post 162, 26971 State Route 58, Wellington, at a later date. Expressions of sympathy may be shared online at www.norton-eastmanfuneralhome.com.
