Tim A. Shepherd, of Greenwich, passed away on Wednesday, July 25, 2018 at his home. He was 60. Tim was born on February 4, 1958 in Willard, Ohio, son of the late Chester and Bessie Shepherd. He grew up in Greenwich and graduated from South Central High School. Tim lived in Greenwich, Shiloh and then Bedford, Indiana. He moved back to Greenwich 5 days ago to fulfill his wish to come home to be with family and friends. In 1977 Tim joined the United States Marine Corps and earned the rank of Corporal. He worked at Automotive Equipment and General Motors in Mansfield, Ohio, Marion, Indiana and then Bedford, Indiana. He loved his family and especially his grandchildren. Tim was known for being a jokester and prankster. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and the outdoors. Tim is survived by his wife whom he married on September 7, 1991, Kathy (Baldridge) Shepherd; children, Tabatha (Chad) Schmidt of Dayton, Ohio, Sarah (Joey) Judkins of Westerville, Ohio and Amanda (Josh) Hughes of Mansfield, Ohio; grandchildren, Autumn, Anastasia, Michael, Mira, Aubrey and Aaron; in-laws, Don and Dosie Baldridge; sister, Sue Music; brother, Gene (Kathie) Shepherd; sisters-in-law, Ima Shepherd, Julia Shepherd and Andrea (Mark) Beal; along with many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Tim was preceded in death by his siblings, David Shepherd, James Shepherd, Patty Uland, Sandra Conaway, Wilda Stumbo, Joanne Wise and Gerald "Jerry" Shepherd and brothers-in-law, George and Timothy Baldridge. Visitation will be held at the Greenwich First Baptist Church, 96 Townsend Street in Greenwich on Monday, July 30, 2018 from 11 am until the 1 pm funeral service with Pastor Bob Hudberg. Burial will follow with military honors in Mt. Hope Cemetery in Shiloh.
