Timothy Waldron Sr., 69, of Wakeman, died Friday, November 1, 2013.
Spending most of his summer happily mowing his lawn and toiling in his bountiful garden, Timothy Waldron Sr. enjoyed God's creation. Starting early in the spring preparing the soil to late in the summer when the fruits of his labors became evident, he was always smiling and joking. On occasion, you would catch him dropping a line in a pond or reservoir trying to get a nibble with one of his 17 grandkids. This wizard of fix-it loved heading to his shop to collect the necessary "duct tape and bailing wire" when summoned to help one of his 7 children, that had gotten themselves into a bind. He always found time for his family and friends. He especially enjoyed his time spent playing with his great granddaughter and his "retirement" work with his buddies at Sunrise Co-op in Norwalk. After the gardening had ended, his attention turned to deer and turkey, when he would head south to West Virginia with Christina (Perkins) his wife of 45 years and friends Bill and Rosie. Tim and Bill were always scheming trying to find ways to attract wildlife into their sights. On top of the mountain was his favorite place to be. Tim finished his race Friday November 1, 2013 surrounded by his family. But this is not the end of Timothy Waldron Sr.'s. story. As one grandson put it "we'll see ya again soon!" For Timothy is a son of the Most High God. While he did not possess many earthly possessions, one thing he did lay hold of while here on this earth is the crown of life laid up for him and all who have loved Christ's appearing.
