Tommy Adkins, 47, life long resident of New London, died Monday, December 26, 2011 at Allen Mercy Medical Center, Oberlin after a sudden illness. Born June 30, 1964 in Norwalk, son of the late Lowell T. and Helen (Clark) Adkins. He was a 1982 graduate of EHOVE Career Center. He worked for Rankin Manufacturing, New London, Leon Riley, Norwalk, Jennings and Churella, New London, Kokosing Const., Mansfield and Mayflower, Norwalk. He was a member of the Laborers Union and the Cushman Club. He is survived by his siblings, Ronald (Linda) Hales, Monroeville, Debra (Ray) Seville, Norwalk, Jody Fairchild, New Paris, Ohio; numerous nephews and great nieces and nephews. Preceded in death by his brother, Bob Hales, niece, Heather Croft. Friends may call from 10:00 a.m. until the time of service at 12:00 p.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main Street, New London with Father Bob Cole officiating. Burial will follow at Grove Street Cemetery, New London.
