Obituary

Toni Risner, 73, of Greenwich, died Thursday, June 10, 2010 at her residence. She was born in Akron on November 7, 1936 to the late James and Jennie (nee Buss) Wilcox. Toni was raised in Cuyahoga Falls and moved to Greenwich in the late fifties. She also lived in Tiffin for 22 years and later moved back to Greenwich. She worked at the Old Fort Bank and Flek TV Repair in Tiffin. She and her late husband, Vaxter owned Risner's Drive Thru, Greenwich in the 70's. Toni was a member of the St. Francis Catholic Church of Willard, the Red Hat Society and the 20th Century Farm Women's Club. Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Robin and Teri Risner of Greenwich; step children, Mark Applegette, Tracy D' Alessandro, Dave Applegette, Rick Applegette, John Applegette and Erin Hassel; 4 grandchildren; 10 step grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren. She is also survived by her siblings, Timothy Wilcox of Wadsworth, Carol Wallace of Dover and Ev Brigger of Randolph. She was preceded in death by her husband, Vaxter in 1975. A time for family sharing will be held 5-7 p.m. Monday, June 14 at Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich, with family services to follow at 7:00 p.m. Memorials if desired may be made to Stein Hospice, 1200 Sycamore Line, Sandusky, Ohio 44870.
