Treva Karolyn Jones, 70, of Mansfield, died Wednesday, December 18, 2013 at Grant Medical Center in Columbus after a short illness. She was born on October 14, 1943, in Ashland. Treva grew up in the Greenwich area and resided in the Mansfield area for the past 40 years. She graduated from South Central High School and retired from Galion Community Hospital after 32 years. Treva enjoyed her morning coffee at McDonalds and sewing. Survived by her son, Derrick (Charla) Jones of Galion; stepsons, Timothy (Christine) Jones of Galion and Duncan (Terri) Jones of Texas; granddaughter, Christina (Chad) Kendall of Akron; several step grandchildren; brother, J. Richard King of Vermilion and several cousins. Treva was preceded in death by her mother, Treva King; father, J. Arthur "Art" King; husband, Beacher Jones in 1999 and an infant sister, Treva Joane King. A private graveside service will be held at Edwards Grove Cemetery in Greenwich.
