Vernedia "Louise" Youngless, born February 16, 1934-July 3, 2015. An angel is released on this day, home where she belongs. Born and residing for 9 years in Morehead/Lexington, KY, She relocated with her elder sister, Alene, to Indiana. She graduated from Boston High in 1952 as head cheerleader and with high honors. Relocating at that time to the Wellington area in Ohio, she met her late husband of 30 years, Norman Dale "Pete" Youngless. She will rejoin so many loved ones including all her siblings, a child, a grandchild, many friends, and extended family, and her beloved parents Roy and Margie Lee (nee Ward) McClurg and step-mother Jessie. She leaves behind a thankful family including her children Dave (Pam), Ed, Ron (Donna) Youngless, Brenda (Don) Sears, and Becky (Roy) Absher, 2 step children Sharon Strader and Pete Youngless Jr. She will also be missed by 13 grandchildren and several great-grandchildren. Louise enjoyed many years and activities surrounded by her many friends, she worked alongside many people, all of whom came to love her, as a telephone operator and a chef in many local restaurants. In the kitchen was her favorite place to be and was appreciated by all who ever tasted her meals. No words can describe what a blessing in our lives she is. She lived a graceful and hard earned life. She was even peacfful and graceful as she was set free. Calling hours will be at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S. Main St., Wellington on Tuesday, July 7, 2015 from 5-8 p.m. Services will be on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m. and burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery.
