Veronica Jane Marsh, 84, of New London, Ohio, passed away on Tuesday, December 14, 2021. She was born on April 7, 1937 to the late Catherine (Slageter) and Theodore Weaver.

Jane was a 1955 graduate of New London High School. She worked as an LPN at Ashland Samaritan Hospital from 1981 until she retired in 1986. She was always taking care of all the kids – grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and any child that was at her house – and she loved every minute of it. Jane enjoyed cooking, baking, camping, and spending time with her family.

Jane is survived by her children, Jeff Marsh, Julie (Axel) Hoyer, and Robin (Jennifer) Marsh; special brother that she raised as a son, Kevin (Kathy) Heileman; grandchildren, Brian (Lauren) Hoyer, Brett (Cari) Hoyer, Matthew (Julie) Hoyer, Lauren (Justin) Toole, Colin (Emma) Marsh, and Jared Marsh; great-grandchildren, Garrett Hoyer, Cameron Hoyer, Josie Hoyer, Lainey Hoyer, Ellie Hoyer, and Julian Toole; siblings, Roger (Ann) Weaver and Sharon (Jim) Singer; special nieces and nephews, Jessica (Brian) Foltz, Gabe (Missy) Heileman, Natalie (Brad) Clark; and many other special nieces and nephews.

In addition to parents, Jane was preceded in death by her loving husband of 65 years, Charles "Ted" Marsh, in June of 2021.

Jane's family will receive guests on Friday, December 17, 2021 from 4:00 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 West Main Street, New London, Ohio 44851. Her funeral service will be held at the funeral home on Saturday, December 18, 2021 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Grove Street Cemetery. Mask or facial coverings are recommended for the visitation and service but are not required.
