Vickie Lee McLelland, 59, of Florence Township, fought cancer with positivity and hope and died peacefully on Saturday, March 3, 2018 at home surrounded by her loving family. She was born on May 16, 1958 in Oberlin to Roy and Connie (nee Harmony) Jordan, and was a 1976 graduate of Wellington High School. Vickie was a vibrant and loving person, who could light up a room or bring laughter to nearly any situation. She was loved by many and would do anything for anyone. Vickie found great joy in decorating her home and helping others with their space as well. She cared for nature and loved to spend time outdoors. Vickie enjoyed time with her bible study group. Her humble, kind, and selfless attitude will be remembered by those who love her. Vickie was a loving mother, sister, daughter, friend and wife and her family always came first. Survivors include her Parents Roy and Connie Jordan; her husband and companion of 20 years, Graeme; children Joshua Lee (Bonnie) Diller, of Wellington, and Jamie Michelle Bealer, of Elyria, William A. McLelland, of Columbus; granddaughters Kayleigh and Kaitlyn Diller; sisters Debbie Stawicki, of Amherst, Sharon Kurtz and Lori McKenzie, both of Wellington, and Kathy Buchanon, of Mansfield; and her best friend Doris. Vickie was preceded in death by her grandparents Donald and Marion Harmony and Hubert and Ruth Jordan, and her brother-in-law Mark McKenzie. Friends and family will be received on Saturday, March 10, from 11a.m. to 1:30p.m. at the Wellington First United Methodist Church , 127 Park Place, Wellington, with services following the visitation.
