Vickiesue "Vickie" Zimmerman, age 64, of Wakeman, died on Thursday, June 20, 2024 at her residence in the company of her beloved husband, Charles. Born August 13, 1959 in North Olmstead, she was the daughter of Kenneth and Nancy (Maurer) Low.

An avid reader, Vickie enjoyed a good book, and when she wasn't reading she would watch Westerns on TV. She took pride in her appearance and made sure she was put together, hair and nails done, even when she got sick and needed assistance from her loving husband or other relatives. Family and friends, and friends that were family, were most important to Vickie and she cherished the time that she spent with each of them. She was an amazing mother, then grandmother, and most recently great-grandmother and somehow it seemed that her love managed to grow with each generation. She loved fully and selflessly and will be remembered by all that knew her for her kind nature and wonderful sense of humor that brought joy to the lives of so many.

Vickie is survived by her husband, Charlie, whom she wed on October 22, 2006; sons, Mike Matvienko, Dave Kordeleski, and Shawn Osenbaugh; daughter, Jamie Randolph; seven grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Dale Low; and many other relatives and friends.

Preceding Vickie in death were her parents; an infant daughter, Sheena; and two brothers, Kenneth and James Low.

Visitation for family and friends will be held on Tuesday, June 25, 2024 from 2:00 p.m. until 4:00 p.m. at Eastman Funeral Home 200 W. Main St., New London, OH 44851. A funeral service will be held immediately after visitation at 4:00 p.m. with Pastor Doug Lang officiating. There will be no burial at this time.
