Viola L. Hodgkin, 94, of Rochester passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at 9:30 p.m. Born November 24, 1920, in Lorain, Ohio. She was a 1939 graduate of Wellington High School and resided in Rochester the majority of her life. She was a devoted, loving wife and mother of two children, three grandchildren and four great grandchildren. She was a member of the Eastern Star, in New London, Ohio. She is survived by her son, Kim Hodgkin and daughter-in-law Ellen of Marietta, Georgia, her grandchildren Valerie Perez of Acworth, GA, Lisa Dantzler of Kennesaw, GA, Brian Hodgkin and his wife Julie Hill, and great grandchildren Elliott Slavik, of Clarksfield TWP, John Glass and Taylor Glass of North Tonawanda, NY, and Brianna Karas of Avon, Ohio. She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Hodgkin, and daughter, Belinda Hodgkin. Visitation will be held at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 South Main Street, Wellington on Monday March 2, from 3-6 p.m. where services will be held on Tuesday beginning at 11 a.m. burial will follow at Rochester Cemetery. In lieu of flowers donations may be directed to the American diabetes association, the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Foundation.
