Violet F. Noe, age 70, of New London, died Saturday, October 20, 2007 at Willard Healthcare Center after a long illness, surrounded by her loving family. Violet was born May 3, 1937 in Grassy, WV, daughter of the late, Martin L. & Avie (Fitzpatrick) Noe. She had resided in the Mansfield area for 45 years. Violet was a homemaker who loved her flowers and quilting. She will be sadly missed by 3 daughters, Margaret (Al) Wagoner of Tobyhanna, PA, Pansey (George) Elliott and Ruth Spitler of New London; 3 grandchildren, Jonathon (Lynette) Gibson, Jason (Candance) Gibson and Summer Elliott; 6 great grandchildren, Justin, Bryon, Taylor, Jake, Jordan, and Jenna; a brother, Franklyn (Linda) Noe of Sidney, OH; and a sister, Bertha Skeens of Mansfield. She was preceded in death by 3 sisters, Marie Smith, May Noe and Hazel Ferguson ; and 4 brothers, William, Charles, Roy and Walter Noe. Friends may call 6-9 p.m. Monday, October 22, 2007 and from 10:00 a.m. until the 11:00 a.m. funeral service Tuesday, October 23, 2007 at the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London. Burial will follow at the Mansfield Memorial Park.
