Virginia V. Farnsworth, 81, of Loudonville, died Wednesday, January 20, 2010 at Colonial Manor in Loudonville. She was born August 9, 1928 daughter to the late Floyd and Opal (nee Sizemore) Hamilton in West Virginia. Virginia lived in Floyd County, Kentucky until moving to New London in the late 50's and settled into Loudonville during the late 90's.
She was a life member of the Ladies Auxiliary of V.F.W. 4654 in New London and a member of the Ladies Auxiliary Eagles 711 in Norwalk.
Survivors include her two sons and daughter-in-laws, Larry G. and Janet Meade of Perrysville and Phil and Judy Meade of Bellville; 7 grandchildren and 12 great grandchildren. She is also survived by a sister Peggy Hipp of Clyde. Virginia was preceded in death by her husband, Robert Farnsworth; two sons, Darrell and Cary Meade and two brothers, Claude and James Hamilton.
A graveside memorial service will be held Wednesday, January 27, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. with Dan Ux officiating at Grove Street Cemetery in New London. In memory of Virginia, donations may be given to the Alzheimer's Association, Northwest Ohio Chapter, 780 Park Avenue West, Mansfield, Ohio 44906.
