Virginia Faith (Ray) Whitlock, 89, formerly of Wellington Ohio passed away at her daughter's home in North Liberty, Indiana, surrounded by those she loved on Tuesday November 28, 2023.

Virginia was born in Wellington, Ohio on May 18, 1934 to the late Harvey and Grace (Litchfield) Ray. She met and married the love of her life, Karl Hassa and the two were married for 54 years before his passing in 2008. In 2011 Virginia married Kenneth Whitlock before his passing in 2022. Virginia spent 34 years working at Forest City Technologies.

Virginia loved the Lord and taught Sunday School for over 30 years. She loved to bake cakes, sew, crafts, and paint. She loved spending time with her loved ones and will be sorely missed.

Virginia is survived by her daughter; Debra (Dean) Baker of North Liberty, IN, son, Benjamin (Mary) Whitlock, as well as her grandchildren: Deanna (Zach Mueller) Baker, Kenneth, Jessica, and Liam.

Virginia was preceded in death by her husband; Karl Hassa, second husband Kenneth Whitlock, her son Ronald Dean Hassa, parents: Harvey and Grace Ray, her sisters: Viola Aldrich, Joyce Bricker, Geraldine Warren, and Carolyn Gray, and brother: George Ray.

A private graveside service will be held at a later date, laying her to rest next to her late husband Karl in Brighton Cemetery, Brighton Ohio.
