Walter Anthony Calco, 28, passed away on June 25, 2025, surrounded by his loving family in Pensacola, FL. Walter was born on May 17, 1997, to Marc and Lisa (Vogus) Calco at Fisher-Titus Medical Center in Norwalk.

Walter will be deeply missed by his family. He loved watching basketball, especially cheering on the Cleveland Cavaliers and The Ohio State Buckeyes with his father. He also had a deep appreciation for the music his parents grew up with, finding comfort and connection in the familiar melodies and heartfelt lyrics. Walter was known for his love of animals. He adored giraffes, chickens, and most of all, dolphins. One of his favorite activities was going on dolphin cruises with his family, a tradition that brought him great joy.

Walter is survived by his loving parents, Marc and Lisa (Vogus) Calco; his grandpa, Marcus Calco; his uncles, Anthony (Tonya) Calco, Frank Calco, Matt (Angie) Vogus, Mike (Shirley) Vogus, Brad (Ilaine) Vogus, and Jeff Bohatch; his aunts, Jennifer Calco, Laura Grinstead, Pam (Woody) Woodruff, and Judy (Terry) Hazelwood, his cousins, Justin, Katie, Matthew, Jasmine (Josh), Sarafina, Brittany, Ryan, Alex, Marlene, Carly, Kaley, Hunter, Emily, Ally, Amy, Kristen (Jeremy), and Aaron; and many other loving family members.

Walter was preceded in passing by, his grandparents, Walter and Katherine Baisch, Kathy and Dennis Vogus, Janet Calco, and Sharon Grinstead; and his aunt & uncle, Patty and Terry Johnson.

The family would also like to extend their gratitude to Walter's Nurse, Deborah Carter, for all of her loving care she provided for him.

A visitation will be held at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main Street, Norwalk on Wednesday, July 2, 2025, from 11:00 AM until 1:00 PM and a burial will follow at St. Paul Cemetery following the conclusion of the visitation.  In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to be made to Walter's funeral services.
