Walter R. "Wally" Kizys, 59, of New London, passed away peacefully on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at home. He was born on October 24, 1959, in Cleveland to the late Walter Henry and Christine (nee Skoczen) Kizys. Wally was a lifelong Browns fan. He grew up in Cleveland and graduated from Cleveland Central Catholic High School. After spending a couple of years away "at college" Walter moved to New London where he met many good friends and lived out his remaining years. Wally is survived by his brother, Don (Connie) Kizys; sister, Celia Rzepka; nephews, Austin Kizys and Joey Rzepka; many good friends, including his roommate, Ron Sexton, and dog "Josh". In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his sister Nancy Kizys. A private memorial service is being planned and will be held at a later date.
