Wanda L. (Knapp) Clinker, age 75, of Ashland, died Sunday, December 19, 2010 at Samaritan Hospital in Ashland, after a sudden illness. Wanda was born July 10, 1935 in Rochester, Ohio, daughter of the late, Wade & Helen (Merrill) Knapp. She was a 1954 graduate of New London High School. She had resided in Rochester, New London, and in Ashland the past 5 years. Wanda worked as a dietician for New London Hospital, New London Nursing Home and Weber Health Care in Wellington. Most recently she worked in baking at Perkins Restaurant in Ashland. She was a member of the Rochester United Methodist Church. Wanda is survived by her husband of 55 years, Dwaine; children, Vickie (Bill) Davis of Howell, MI and Dean (Amina) Clinker of Greenwood, IN; 9 grandchildren; 5 great grandchildren; and siblings, Mary (Darrell) Cole, Myron (Elenor) Knapp, Mark (Mary) Knapp and Tom Knapp all of Rochester. She was preceded by a sister, Alice Knapp. Friends may call 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. Tuesday at Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W. Main St., New London where funeral services will be held 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, Dec. 22, 2010. Pastor Tina Siroki will officiate and burial will follow in the Rochester Cemetery.
