Wayne Albert Jackson Sr., 76, of Castalia, went to be with the Lord after a lengthy illness, at Toledo Hospital with his loving family by his side on December 9, 2023. Born on April 2, 1947 in Fostoria, he was the son of the late William Leroy and Eleanor (nee Syllbaugh) Jackson. Wayne grew up in Milan and was a graduate of Milan High School.

Wayne worked for Delphi for 33 years as a millwright. He also owned Jackson Racing Inc with his son Wayne Jr. Wayne was a talented wood worker and enjoyed spending time outdoors, camping and riding his Harley with his wife.

Survivors include his daughters, Tammy (James) Skiver, Sherry Jackson, and Kelli Jackson; daughter-in-law, Darlene Scheel; 9 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren. Wayne was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years, Marilyn (nee Rachul) Jackson; and son, Wayne Jackson, Jr.

Friends and family will be received on Tuesday, December 12, from 3-6 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main St, Norwalk, where services will be held on Wednesday beginning at 11 a.m., burial will follow at Scott Cemetery in Huron.
