Wayne A. Jackson 73, of Norwalk, died Thursday, June 26, 2025 at Grace Hospital, Parma, Ohio.  He was born December 31, 1951 in Norwalk, Ohio to the late Mary A. (Valek) and Arthur W. Jackson.  Wayne was a graduate of Monroeville High School, class of 1971, loved being outdoors, spending time with family and had the greatest Forth of July parties.  When he was inside he enjoyed watching western movies and shows.

Wayne is survived by his wife, Geraldine (Jenkins) Jackson whom he married in 1999, daughter, Christina; siblings, Patricia Ann Barnes and Margaret Jane Slagle; nieces and nephews, Shannon Wetzel, Beth Wise, Tina Hinckley, Michael Jackson, Deborah Slagle, Robert Slagle and Lynn Nunes as well as several great and great great nieces and nephews; also, his faithful companion, his dog, Candy.  He was preceded in death by his parents; siblings, Mary Elaine McDonald, Linda Darlene Nunes; 2 nephews, Peter Wetzel and Jason Nunes.

A celebration of life will be held on Saturday, July 12 at 5 p.m. at his residence, 4526 Gibbs Road, Norwalk. The staff of the Eastman Funeral Home, 200 W.
