Wendy Marie Berger, 53, of Lorain, passed away from complications of a stroke on July 3, 2024, at Akron General Hospital. On October 7, 1970, Wendy was born in Elyria to the late John and Jacqueline Vaught, Sr.

Wendy worked as a cook and food was a true passion of hers. She loved trying the newest dishes, attempting all the online recipes and visiting restaurants she heard about on Facebook.  Wendy also adored her Shih Tus, Jack and Gemma, and truly enjoyed being a mom. She also loved going to the beach and relaxing while looking at the waves.

She is survived by her husband, Kevin, son, Jason, a daughter, Elizabeth, her grandchildren, and brother, John Vaught. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Melissa Babbs.
