Wendy L. Groot, 49, of Wellington, died Saturday, October 7, 2023, at her home and in her husband's arms. She was born in Cleveland on January 16, 1974, and was a 1992 graduate of Olmsted Falls High School.

Wendy worked at Central Plumbing as a bookkeeper for 30 years. She enjoyed raising plants, dancing, and singing karaoke. Wendy enjoyed her life and drinking a good beer.

She is survived by her husband, Rich Groot, who she married on May 13, 2016; children, Mariah Ann Lamb, of Oberlin, Felecia Groot, of Wellington, and Richard Groot, of Wellington; grandchildren, Alexis Lynn Konst and Parker John Groot; her parents, Alan and Deborah (nee Ward) Nowak, of Olmsted Township; and her sister, Tamara Jean (Mark) Swearingen, of Berea.

Family and friends will be received at Norton-Eastman Funeral Home, 370 S.
