Wendy R. Gifford, 53, of New London, Ohio passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, November 23, 2021 at her residence due to complications from COVID.  Wendy was born on March 2, 1968 in Ashland, Ohio, the daughter of Dot and Bill McClanahan.

Wendy was a graduate of New London High School.  She was employed by Fisher Titus Family Medicine in Willard, Ohio.  Wendy loved spending time with her family and loved getting together with them.  She loved the holidays, especially Christmas.  She enjoyed cooking and baking and was always trying new recipes.  Wendy was a member of the New London Church of Christ.  She had a very strong faith and loved to be with her church family.  Wendy loved life and lived it to the fullest; she was always happy and enjoyed staying busy.  She will be so missed by all who knew and loved her.

Wendy is survived by her husband, David Gifford of New London; her parents, Dot and Bill McClanahan of New London; brother, Bill (Melody) McClanahan of Willard; niece and nephew, Hannah and Ian McClanahan and her two fur babies, Lola and Daisy.  Wendy was preceded in death by her fur baby, Dixie.
