Wilda Stumbo, 61, of Greenwich, died Tuesday, February 7, 2012 at the Rehabilitation and Nursing Center at Firelands in New London. She was born July 16, 1950, in Willard and lived most of her life in the Greenwich and Shiloh areas.
Wilda operated the Shiloh Diner for many years and was a wonderful cook. She was a loving wife, mother and grandmother. Wilda was a member of the United Baptist Church of Willard.
Survivors include her spouse, Dennis; daughter, Elizabeth (Jonathan) Lyons of Plymouth; granddaughters, Candace Lyons, student at OSU in Columbus, Kayla Lyons of Plymouth and Nicole Lyons, student at the University of Pikeville, Kentucky; grandson, Aaron Lyons of Plymouth and siblings, Dave Shepherd, Gene Shepherd, Joanne Wise, Sue Music, Sandy Conaway, Tim Shepherd and Jerry Shepherd. Wilda was preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Bessie Shepherd and siblings, Patricia Uland and Jim Shepherd.
Visitation will be held Friday, February 10th from 11:00 a.m. until the time of the funeral service at 1:00 p.m. at the Eastman Funeral Home, 49 West Main St., Greenwich with Rev. James Wilson. Burial will follow at Plymouth Greenlawn Cemetery. Memorials if desired may be made to the Kidney Foundation of Ohio, Inc., Norwalk Fund, 2831 Prospect Ave., Cleveland, Ohio 44115.
