William "Bill" E. Duncan, 70, of Norwalk, OH died February 21, 2022, at the Specialty Hospital of Lorain in Amherst.

Bill was born April 30, 1951, in Akron, OH to the late Opal V. and Harold Duncan.

Bill loved hunting, fishing, nature, and the outdoors. He never missed an opportunity to enjoy the splendor of wildlife or spending time with his beloved dogs. He was a loving and caring spouse to his wife, Diane; a friend and partner to his sister and brother-in-law, Linda, and Bob Stower, and he was an excellent example of what a father should be to his children, William C. and Kelley Duncan, Brett and Nicole Duncan, stepchildren, Jason Miller, Travis and Stephanie Miller. Bill's grandchildren are Owen, Madison, Malia, Kilee, Kelsey, Cody, and Lily. He was a mechanic who spent his life fixing anything he could, for anyone that needed it. His wit, sense of humor, and desire to take care of his family was a part of him until the very end. His courage, bravery, and resilient spirit will always be remembered by those that called him, Husband, Dad, Grandpa, and friend.

Bill is preceded in death by his parents, siblings, and his best friend.

His family would like to thank the caring and compassionate staff at Specialty Hospital of Lorain in Amherst. It is no surprise; Bill continued to make new friends and inspire others throughout the end of his journey.

A visitation will be held on Friday, February 25, 2022, from 10 am until the time of funeral service at 12 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. Burial will follow in St. Paul Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Duncan Family to be donated philanthropically in Bill's honor.
