William Henry Fazenbaker, 75, of Willard, Ohio, died Saturday, September 5, 2026, at St. Rita’s Medical Center in Lima, Ohio. Born on January 4, 1951, in Norwalk, Ohio, he was the son of the late Carl and Virginia (nee Fairchild) Fazenbaker. Following graduation from Norwalk High School, William joined and proudly served in the United States Army. He served 2 tours in Vietnam and was awarded a Purple Heart and other medals.

William was a skilled tradesman and truck driver and worked at various jobs throughout his life. He enjoyed watching and following sports, especially football. Most of all William cherished his family and time spent with his grandchildren.

Survivors include his children, B.J. Fazenbaker, of Indiana, Virginia Fazenbaker, of Norwalk, and Billie Fazenbaker, of Willard; stepson, Robert Starkey; 12 grandchildren, 3 great-grandchildren; siblings Mary, Gladys, and Victoria. William was preceded in death by his wife Lori (nee Kurtz); a son William Jr; stepdaughter, Stacy Newland; and siblings, Harold Dean, Clifford, and Eva.

Friends and family will be received on Thursday, September 10, 2026, from 11 a.m. until 1 p.m. at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 West Main St, Norwalk, where services will be held on Friday, September 11, 2026, beginning at 11a.m. Burial will follow at Wakeman Cemetery.
