William "Bill" L. Rarick, 86, of Norwalk, passed away peacefully, Friday morning, November 4, 2022, at the Willows at Bellevue surrounded by his loving family.

Bill was born on September 8, 1936, in Powell, OH. He graduated from Norwalk High School. Bill proudly served his country as a member of the United States National Guard. He was employed for many years at Bob Meyer Chevrolet as their service manager. Bill would later retire from Lake Erie Construction as a shop foreman. In his spare time, Bill enjoyed staying busy with projects in his shop and keeping an immaculate yard. His greatest joy of all was going on drives with his wife and spending time with his family, especially the grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Bill is survived by 3 children, Chris (Calvin) Shullick of Norwalk, Jeff (Cheryl) Rarick of Willard, and Brad (Sheila) Rarick of Norwalk; grandchildren, Billy Rarick, Bailey (Emily) Rarick, Aliza (Andrew) Schluchter, Taylor (Andrew) Devlin, Morgan (Kyle) Rarick, Kelsie Rarick, Kady Rarick, Jordan (Kristen) Shullick, Nick (Maddie) Shullick, and Logan Shullick, and 13 great-grandchildren with 2 more on the way.

Bill was preceded in death by his parents, Otto and Grace Rarick, and his wife, Judith Rarick, who passed in 2020.

A visitation will be held on Tuesday, November 8, 2022, from 4 pm to 7 pm at Walker-Eastman-Heydinger Funeral Home, 98 W. Main Street, Norwalk, OH 44857. A graveside service will be held at a later date at Woodlawn Cemetery.
