Obituary

William "Red" Marshall, 70, of Norwalk, OH died on Wednesday, May 1, 2024 at Fisher Titus Medical Center, Norwalk.  Red, as he was known by many, was born on January 20, 1954 in Bartlow Township, the son of the late Clayton and Donna Jean (Adams) Marshall Jr.

Red recently resided in Norwalk; however New London was his home.  Red served as a Deacon at the Second Baptist Church in New London. He took great pride in his church and church family, he loved his church! What Red enjoyed most was being with his large family and he was a well-known prankster.  He enjoyed fishing and loved to mow the grass.

Red is survived by his wife, Ludie (Ezell) Marshall of Norwalk; children, DeWayne "Kup" Williams of New London, William Kitts and Ayanna Kitts of Georgia; step children, David Frankart of Kunkle, OH, Cyndy Frankart and Elton Frankart of Norwalk, Chris Stahl of Wellington, Angie Richardson of Norwalk and April Randelman of South Carolina and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren; siblings, Rodney (Dorothy "Dot") Marshall, Gregory (Debbie) Marshall, Karin (Roy) Colhran and Rebecca (James) Pryor.  In addition to his parents, Red was preceded in death by his first wife, Teresa Marie Marshall; son, Aaron Williams, daughter, Tyanna T. Kitts and siblings, Phyllis Williams, Arlene Carter and Terry Marshall.

A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, May 7, 2024, at 2:00 p.m. at the Second Baptist Church, 41 N Maple Street, New London, OH 44851.  In lieu of flowers, memorials in honor of Red may be directed to the Second Baptist Church.  Fond memories and condolences may be shared with the family at www.eastmanfuneralhome.com.
